Dae Han Mu Do Gwan (大漢武道舘) and its discipline of Kumdo and traditional Kumbup stems from Grandmaster Jiang Jing, the current patriarch of Dae Han Mu Do Gwan Clan.
The foundation of Dae Han Mu Do Gwan dates back to approximately 1500 years ago in Korean Silla Dynasty (57 BC – 935 AD). Our tradition is known throughout the martial arts community as the clan preserving authentic techniques and philosophy of traditional sword – but also as a world sword federation supervising all types of swordsmanship in the world.
Current location of Dae Han Mu Do Gwan headquarters is in Seattle since 1994 – a Federation supervising world contact weapon sports (including all types of swordsmanship).
Grandmaster Jiang Jing Sung Baek is also the patriarch of the following clans
Dong Han Gwan (東翰舘)
